Title analysis

Titles are important as they help to:

• set the genre 
• incite into what the film will be about
• represents the movie 
• stays in the memorys of the audience
• usually leads you to the first judgement about the film

Analysis of paranormal activity:

The use of the static effect is stereotypical of paranormal activity, it leads us to believe that this will be what the film will be based mostly upon, also stereotypical of a paranormal film is the white mist around the outside of the font. The way the name is not in sync (distorted) foreshadows chaos.

BBFC

The examiners concentrate on 9 things whilst reviewing:

• discrimination 

U - U stands for universal, a U movie should be suitable for all audiences aged four and over.

















PG- this stands for Parental Guidance. this means a film is suitable for general viewing bu some scenes may be unsuitable for younger children.

12 amd 12A- this means that he content may not generally suitable for children under 12. No one under the age of 12 is allowed to view a 12a film unless they are assisted by an adult.








15 - no one under 15 is allowed to see a 15 film at the cinema or buy or rent them as they are unsuitable.





18- films rated 18 are for adults, no one under 18 is allowed to see them in the cinema or buy or rent. They aren't suitable o
